Children's Ministry
Children's ministry takes a special place in my life not only because I have a young son and one one the way but because it's one of the first major opportunities that God blessed me with to test and grow my ministry skills. In 2007 I accepted the position of Children's Minister and served in that position for almost 3 years. I find that if you want to understand the simplest elements of ministry that teaching children should be placed near to the top. Jesus took the time to recognize how special children are and how we need to treat them so by that example I've had the chance to really learn more about myself and how God works in the life of a child. When I find myself struggling with a particular part of ministry remembering what God has taught me while serving in that position helps get me back to affirming the calling God has for me in service to Him and the Church.

Arranged several seasonal musical/plays for Christmas thru Easter.

Wrote a play based of Jonah.

Planning and working with Children's Camps and retreats.

Spent time visiting families and seeking how my family and I can help be there for them in any way possible.
